Tang Zongzhong is the Head of Sustainability for EQT Private Capital Asia. He is responsible for the overall sustainability strategy in Asia, and works with portfolio companies across multiple industries on sustainability risk mitigation and value creation. He is also currently serving on the ESG Committees at several global portfolio companies. Prior to joining EQT in 2021, Mr. Tang was at Partners Group, where he was the regional head for ESG integration and impact investing in Asia Pacific. Before that, he was an Associate Director at Blackpeak in Singapore, where he oversaw fraud, bribery and corruption assignments, focused on Southeast Asia and Greater China. Mr. Tang holds an MA Global Affairs from Yale University and a BSc in International Relations from the London School of Economics and Political Science.

Marie is a Founding Partner of Wavemaker Impact, the first VC backed climate tech venture builder in SouthEast Asia. Wavemaker Impact co-founds start ups with experienced entreprenuers with the aim of building a portfolio of scaleable companies that can abate 10% of the global carbon budget.

Marie has worked with over 20 entrepreneurs to help them build their businesses. In the last two years, Marie has focused exclusively on launching climate tech startups in Southeast Asia and is passionate about increasing the pipeline of women founders in the sector.

Prior to joining Wavemaker Impact, Marie led the Venture Build program at ENGIE Factory, where she was responsible for building a portfolio of 10 climate tech ventures valued at over US $8m at pre-seed round.

Marie was also the general manager at a SAAS startup and a senior member of KPMG's Digital + Innovation team. Her career also includes stints in management consulting and in a construction company where she specialized in operations strategy, business development, cost reduction and process improvement.

Marie has a MBA from the National University of Singapore where she graduated as valedictorian and holder of the Panasonic Marketing Award.

Rohini Samtani serves as Sustainability Solutions Manager at S&P Global Sustainable1. She is responsible for leading S&P Sustainable1’s efforts to engage with financial institutions including banks, asset owners and asset managers across South and Southeast Asia to integrate climate and nature related risks into decision-making.

Rohini has seven years of professional experience in financial services information. Prior to joining S&P Global Sustainable1 she was at Bloomberg, with a key focus on growing Bloomberg’s Sustainable Finance solutions to banks in Southeast Asia. She also served as a news producer on CNBC’s financial news show Squawk Box, covering key market events including Brexit and the 2016 US presidential election and its impact on financial markets globally.

She holds a GARP Sustainability and Climate Risk (SCR) certification, and a Certification in Climate Risk from the NYU Stern School of Business. She graduated with a Bachelor of Social Sciences (Hons) in Communications and New Media from the National University of Singapore.

Terence is a seasoned analyst with diverse experience in sustainability. As a young Private Wealth and Asset Management analyst covering the European and Asian markets, he specialized in conducting research and analysis on different asset classes, including ESG funds amid their emergence. Prior to joining S&P Global, Terence spent 4.5 years fostering partnerships – including sustainable tech collaborations – between Singapore and European businesses at a Singapore government agency championing enterprise development. He also played a part in shaping sustainability initiatives, policies and in translating thought leadership and best practices to guide Singapore businesses and the agency in developing sustainability capabilities. Terence holds certificates in Sustainability & Climate Risk by GARP® and Circular Economy & Sustainability Strategies by the University of Cambridge's Judge Business School.​
