Partner with our clients to integrate ESG into their operations, by driving alignment between the corporate and ESG strategy, ensuring Board and management are aligned on ESG goals, integrating ESG KPIs into operating plan, establishing a PMO and clear governance and accountability structures
Design and implement supplier sustainability program for our clients, to help them evaluate and pro-actively mitigate ESG risk permeating from their supply chain. Furthermore, the program enables clients to align their suppliers to their ESG goals and also meet the value chain reporting requirements.

Led the transformation of an Indian solar developer to a leading solar EPC provider for the African market
Co-chair of the USIBC Solar Task Force and facilitated the dialogue between industry stakeholders and state and Central policy makers to contribute to the solar policy in India

Graham MacGregor, is a Managing Director at Alvarez & Marsal in Melbourne, Australia. Graham is an experienced Energy Transition Leader with over 25 years of experience working in energy transition and the energy and resources sectors, including 15 years in senior and executive leadership roles with Independents, IOCs and consulting firms.
Graham has worked in over 40 countries across multiple asset classes, with the last 14 years being based out of Australia. He has a successful record of leading and delivering transformational change, building and growing businesses within businesses and ensuring that those businesses perform well.
Developed and ran a novel future product auction process to determine the ‘green premium’ achievable in the marketplace to support a bankable AUD500Mn business case incorporating value of carbon for a petrochemicals manufacturing business switching to a bio-feedstock.
Led and delivered a business case assessment for a carbon capture and storage project to decarbonise an ammonia plant reducing emissions by up to 76% in the base case and reducing cost exposure by AUD2.5Bn under new emissions compliance legislation.
Developed a go to market strategy for a carbon credit supplier in the Agriculture sector that reduces enteric methane. The engagement involved building the client’s commercial capability around designing, marketing and supporting sales of carbon credits to grow the companies EV from AUD120Mn to AUD4.5Bn.
Compiled an integrated pre-feasibility study for a proposed AUD12Bn green steel project in Australia including integrating all technical, commercial, environmental and regulatory reports into a single business for sanctioning to progress to the feasibility stage.
Develop market leading thought leadership in the Australian Carbon Market including published articles leading thinking in commercialisation of carbon and developing new revenues stream from carbon solutions.
Prior to joining Alvarez and Marsal, Graham was a Partner in PwC's Energy Transition Team leading their work on Carbon Markets and Carbon prices to help accelerate the decarbonization of Energy & Resource Assets and Development projects. During his career Graham has had leadership roles with several global players including ExxonMobil, Shell and McKinsey.
Graham holds an MBA from INSEAD and an MEng Chemical Engineering from Loughborough University. He is a Sainsbury Management Fellow, a Fellow of the Institute of Chemical Engineers and a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
