Maria Li is the COO of Tech in Asia, one of the leading digital media publications covering Asia’s tech and startup scene. Prior to Tech in Asia, Maria worked at Apple as a business operations and commercial strategy manager in Cupertino and Singapore. She began her career as an emerging markets consultant with Deloitte. Maria earned her MBA from Wharton and MPP from the University of Virginia.

Amira Berrada is a private equity investment professional with 12 years’ experience. She is currently an Investment Manager with IFC’s Asset Management Company, the private equity arm of IFC that manages third party capital. She has been on the investment team of IFC’s Emerging Asia Fund, a US$700m sector agnostic growth equity fund in Asia, since its inception in 2016 and based in Singapore. Amira is an IFC DEI Advocate (1 of 24 members across 4,000+ staff) and a member of the IFC Anti-Racism Taskforce. Prior to IFC, Amira worked for Citibank in New York and Export Development Canada. Amira holds an MBA from Columbia Business School and the University of Hong Kong and speaks English, French and Spanish.

Joshua joined ICONIQ in April 2022 with responsibility for client partnerships across Asia Pacific. He works across the wider ICONIQ Capital ecosystem to facilitate meaningful connectivity and engagement for our community including with family office clients, LPs and other leaders from the private, public and civil society space.

Originally from Canada, Joshua has spent much of his career working internationally, including more than a decade working on, or in, Southeast Asia. Joshua most recently served at the World Economic Forum, where he had responsibility for growing and engaging the Forum’s community of private sector partners in Asia Pacific. In previous roles, Joshua has worked in Singapore, Toronto, Yangon, Bangkok and Kuala Lumpur in government, consulting and civil society positions. Joshua holds a BA in Political Science from Bishop’s University and an MBA from the Ivey School of Business at Western University.

Joshua is a passionate ski mountaineer and alpine climber. When not in the mountains, you can typically find him spending time with his wife and twin daughters, Scarlett and Victoria.

Kabir Narang is Founding General Partner at B Capital Group. He is based in Singapore, co-leads B Capital in Asia and cross border investments at the firm. Kabir has nearly two decades of investing experience across enterprise software and fintech. Prior to B Capital, he held leadership and investing roles at Eight Roads, Fidelity’s private investment arm, and Warburg Pincus. Kabir was Managing Director at Eight Roads leading investments in technology. He was also a core member of the Regional Investment Committee, which evaluated investment opportunities across Asia, including India, SE Asia, China and Japan. At Warburg Pincus, one of the earliest private equity funds to invest in Asia, his work focused on tech and financial services investments.

Roshini is the Managing Director, Private Equity at Everstone Capital Asia Pte and the Head of Impact for the entire group. As an MD , she is focused on evaluating new opportunities, including thematic strategies in the consumer sector, and driving operational improvement in portfolio companies in the areas of, human capital management, brand transformation and implementation of ESG and Impact. She manages a diverse portfolio of companies based in India, and South East Asia as part of her remit.

Roshini has more than 30 years of general management and marketing experience and strong track record in consumer industries, setting strategy for creative consumer-driven services and improving operational effectiveness to create greater financial returns. Prior to Everstone, she was the CEO for the Walt Disney Company’s consumer, media and retail business for South Asia, where she set up and grew the business to more than $300 million in revenue. Some of her earlier roles were with Unilever, American Express, Mattel and Polaris.

Roshini serves on the boards of Persistent Systems, JM Financial Products as an Independent Director and on Everlife Pte, Singapore and Culinary Brands , India as a nominee director. She believes very strongly in young entrepreneurs as the future for innovation and growth and works closely with Endeavor.org as a mentor and global panelist helping shortlist the next generation of growth businesses.

Roshini holds an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management (Ahmedabad, India) and an undergraduate degree in economics from St Stephens College (Delhi, India).

She lives in Singapore and is a keen marathoner and is very passionate about running, finding a way to run and discover places on foot wherever she travels.
