Arvind has engaged in a number of M&A transactions such as : the acquisition of a fund manager; acquisition of a rating agency; the sale of a bank arranging acquisition finance; and the design of an acquisition strategy for a major multinational corporation. He has taught M&A courses, including M&A negotiation skills, for over a decade and prepared several Asian M&A and buyout case studies.

Arvind played a role in the creation, structuring and placement of a nearly $1 billion India Infrastructure Fund. In addition, Arvind was instrumental in the establishment of the Asian Infrastructure Fund ($780 million), the Asian Infrastructure Mezzanine Capital Fund ($265 million),The Asian Equity Infrastructure Fund ($400 million), Infrastructure Development Finance Company(IDFC), and the AIG Sectoral Equity Fund ($110 million). He has negotiated several transactions and helped structure, and invested in, over 30 venture capital and private equity funds, including 5infrastructure funds and a number of General Partnerships. While at ADB, Citi and Standard Chartered Bank, Arvind gained exposure to equity investments and lending.
Currently, Arvind is an adviser to an international law firm and to a portfolio company of a $14billion, New York-based special situations fund.

He has been a member of Investment Committees and fund boards. The funds have targeted investments in India & China besides several other emerging markets of Asia. He has worked on funds with Limited Partners such as the Asian Development Bank, the International Finance Corporation (IFC), CalPERS, La Caisse de Depot et Placement du Quebec, the Prudential Insurance Corporation of America and some of the leading institutional investors in Australia, Singapore, Malaysia and India.

He has led many M&A and fundraising transactions for strategic and private capital investors. Hiswork includes M&A advisory, due diligence and valuation for both the buy and sell sides. Most ofthese transactions involve listed and private companies across Southeast Asia.
Luke also focuses across the private equity (PE) life cycle, helping PE firms to invest in newcompanies, working with portfolio companies in their growth ambitions, and helping PE funds toexit.

Luke is an associate member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and licensed toadvise on corporate finance by the Monetary Authority of Singapore.

Experienced in M&A advisory and transaction support, Hafiz focuses on developing lead advisory deal origination for Asia-wide M&As at Ernst & Young Corporate Finance Pte Ltd. Hafiz works closely with both state-owned enterprises and private equity funds in optimizing and rebalancing their portfolios via M&A.

Previously, Hafiz was investment director in one of Southeast Asia’s sovereign private equityfunds, overseeing investments, portfolio management and divestment opportunities acrossvarious sectors from food and beverage, education, manufacturing, oil and gas and retail. Hafizalso has worked in one the leading regional ASEAN banks under its group strategy divisionfocusing on M&A and integration.

Hafiz holds a Masters in International Marketing and Management from Regent Business School, London and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and Management from Nottingham University.

She brings over 20 years of banking experience, notably in corporate finance, corporate banking and headed the credit solutions for private banking clients, where she provided advice on strategic financing options, debt financings & restructurings, leveraged buyouts and recapitalizations.

Madelene holds a Bachelor of Business from RMIT University, Australia. She is also holds a Capital Markets and Financial Advisory Services (CMFAS) license by the Monetary Authority of Singapore.
